Ok now for mah critique, I would say use some darker shading, and the main thing that sticks out to me, is that she doesn't actually look like she's ON the branch. You know what I mean?
It'd be nice to have her arm wrap in front of the tree, and with the legs, I'd suggest a completely different position, honestly. It kinda looks like she's on a flat ground plane. Think about how you'd sit on a tree branch.

Other than that, I still really love this piece!

One thing I wanted to ask is how you got that sharp texture on the tree?

Yeah, the shading WAS darker, but it looked like crap so I decided to lighten it.
I agree, it's not perfectly clear that she's on a branch. But honestly, I've never sat in a tree before so I wouldn't know ^^;

For the tree, I used my main color (beige-ish brown)and I shaded it a bit. Then I used a sandstone texture and went Image>Adjustments>Brightness/Contrast and elevated the contrast a little. Then I used the smudge tool in a vertical motion and repeated the sandstone texture.

Oh, yeah, dark shading can be really powerful. I guess more shades in between? IDK
Really? Well, umm, you don't have a bar, or anything thin and...tubular to stand on?

I MAY STEAL FROM THIS TECHNIQUE A LITTLE BIT. I really like how sharp it looks. O.O

Wow very nice =D I'm loving all the textures and the line less style. It's so bright without being overly bright and annoying. The way you made the focus more on the background instead of the foreground is a very nice touch. And the light rays, they add more depth to the picture. You do a good job alluding that there's a lot more in the background than what there really is, again this adds more depth.

The girl's legs seem a little too thin. But this could be just a style thing.

Overall very good job! I like this one a lot

Btw, nice description. It really does a good job telling more about the picture and your thoughts on it *sarcasm* ;D

Thank you :3

Yeah, it would look like a war zone with lines :S

I agree, there is depth in the background, but to me it seems to end. It seems like there's a gigantic piece of paper blocking out the rest of the picture.

Or maybe I'm being to critical.

Oh yes, it's the most detailed description I have ever written. It took me an hour to write.

Well I can tell where it ends put it has sort of a hazy look to it, like a rain forest. So it doesn't seems entirely lazy. It's avoiding detail in a smart way ;D

Oh I could imagine. This is one to remember.
